Christmas in Lombok! (Senggigi)

After 5 nights in Kuta, we moved on to Senggigi Beach.  While Kuta's hotel was a bit more rustic, the Senggigi Beach Hotel was a few steps up from that.  The grounds were beautiful and it was a peaceful place to spend our last three days in Lombok. While there we were able to meet up with a few familiar faces that were also staying at this hotel.

The snorkelling was amazing.  We were able to see so many different kinds of fish and the
unique coral while swimming right off the beach of our hotel.

Gili Meno
On our last day in Lombok we ventured to Gili Meno, an island just off the coast.  Here we did some snorkelling and enjoyed another fantastic beach with wonderful people.

Just a short walk down the beach we found a Sea Turtle Sanctuary.  The kids loved seeing the baby turtles.

Paul enjoyed having a conversation with our guide.  They talked a lot about farming and
the differences between Canada and Indonesia
