National Park visit to the Natural Bridge and the Blowholes, which weren't blowing that day.
On our way to Stirling Range we made a couple of stops to hike.
Every campground in Australia has kitchen facilities available for anyone to use. We took advantage of the fridge, stoves, BBQs and other amenities. This campsite in Stirling Range was one of our favourites.

Another attempt to protect our tent and the things inside. We ended up asking the manager for a bigger tarp who generously let us borrow one. Paul set that one up later, hoping for better results.
A cloudy, but beautiful day. A perfect day for a drive and a short hike.

The day started with clouds and rain, but ended with warmth and sunshine.
The kids enjoyed a swim in the pool.
We settled into our tent that night feeling quite secure now that Paul took his time to put up a larger tarp over the tent. Little did we know that the tarp would do us no good at 3:00 in the morning when the rain really came down. Upon picking out a place to put our tent we settled for a quiet place, which was apparently the lowest part of the campground. As the pictures will show, we were literally flooded out of our tent, leaving us no choice but to evacuate with sleeping kids and as much of our belongings as possible. It was quite the adventure and definitely one memory we will never forget.

While us girls rested and dried things out, the boys took a hike to the highest point in Stirling Range.
On our way back to Perth, we (Paul) made a last minute decision to visit the Pinnacles, a landmark that would be worth visiting. Little did we realize how long it would take to get there. However, I have to admit (after being a little annoyed by the long drive), that the beauty we saw along the way was well worth the drive. The sky itself was amazing!
We couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit the second largest ram in the southern hemisphere.
A Visit to the Historical Town of York

We never did make it to the Pinnacles the day we planned on getting there, but the next morning we spent some time enjoying the view and playing a bit of hide and seek.
