Indo Family Visitors

We moved from Indonesia two years ago.  Some days it feels just like yesterday, and some days it feels like a distant memory.  There are many days we long for the school, for the community we became a part of, and the traveling we had the opportunity to do.  We often browse through our pictures to keep Indonesia, and our adventures along the way, memories we won't soon forget.

We have been fortunate in the past two years to visit with friends we met in Indonesia.  We may not see them often or even talk regularly but there is a connection we will never lose with our beloved Indonesian friends.

May 2017 Jake and Vero came to visit.

During the Summer of 2017 we connected with the Long Family in New York and with Kim and Tris in Quebec City.

Christmas 2017 we were graced with the presence of Hetha.

The summer of 2018 has barely gotten started for us and we have already enjoyed visits with three wonderful families; the Kuipers, Muddes, and Huizengas!  We await the arrival of the Long family in July.

There truly is a special bond you make with families when you live overseas.  We have been so blessed by visits with these families, but also with the friends we keep in touch via technology. There is an understanding we have with one another and a comfort in knowing we are able to keep these friendships for life.  Much love to all our Indo friends/family.


Update: We enjoyed visiting the Long family who made a long drive to stay with us for a couple of nights from July 12 - 14.  What a blessing this family is to us.
