Our Home and Native Land!

Four months have passed since arriving back in Canada.  There was a lot to be done and we were living in a bit of a whirlwind for awhile.  Although things have definitely slowed down, we know there will be more adjustments ahead that will be difficult to get through.

It is difficult to sum up everything we have experienced as we have settled back into the culture we once knew and a new community on top of that.  We know that with change we cannot hide, as tempting as that may be, but instead we need to embrace each day and trust that we are where we need to be.  As Ann Voskamp reminded me recently, from the story of Esther, "We are here for such a time as this".  Trusting that, is what we are learning to do.

Adjustments and changes are difficult.  To be honest, we really don't like them. But as stated in the title of our blog, we step out knowing there is something greater than ourselves.  We step out in Faith.  And as we do that, there are many things to enjoy and be grateful for along the way.
